Amanda Loomis is from Springfield, Oregon. She received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture

at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon in 2013. She is a skilled designer, ceramicist and gardener. She established Beyond the Root in 2013. She moved to Montreal, Quebec in 2015 and is embracing the world of urban landscape design.

Amanda's designs emphasize lush planting palettes and innovative solutions to design challenges. In addition, she offers custom-made horticultural building systems/terracotta pots.
